Genesee Country Museum - July 2019

On Saturday, July 27, 2019 15 members of the LAKESHORE MODEL A FORD CLUB visited the Genesee Country Museum and Village and our Model A cars were parked in the Great Meadow for all visitors to enjoy. This living museum consists of a 19th century village covering more than 600 acres with demonstrations and exhibits in many of the houses (49 places in total) representing the rural life in the surrounding Rochester area. Although all of these buildings are of great interest, two were specifically important to the development of Rochester: The George Eastman Boyhood House and the Nathaniel Rochester House.
After visiting the museum lunch was served in the Freight House Pub where we all gathered to share our experiences in the museum and camaraderie. It was a beautiful sunny day spent with good friends.
